Spine awareness & strengthening – Yogic approach

Your spinal column is the basis of everything that you experience right now.

It is very important that the spine is exercised. Otherwise it will become rigid and your ability to experience life decreases dramatically.

To improve spinal health, this 3 hour workshop will provide you with a Yogic approach to increase your general awareness of the spine while sitting, lying down and moving. Teach you simple and safe ways to decompress the spine. Address certain Yogic aspects concerning the importance of the spine and its significance in your life. And learn 2 sets of practises to incorporate in your daily routine.

The first set aims to strengthen the spine, skeletal system, and muscular system around the spine.
The second set reverses the load upon the spine that gets creates throughout the day.

  • How to sit
  • How to stand up / get out of bed


  • Spinal decompression
  • Angamardana, standing processes
  • Spinal Twist Variations

Yogic aspects:

  • Importance of the spine
  • Activating the spine
  • The 3 fundamental Nadis
